Yes, yesterday was more of the same on the 80's shirt front. (But I don't mean my shirt front.) It was pretty warm out, but not too warm. And it's raining today. So, more 80's shirts.

I am pointing to some thrifted finds, here. I am actually quite terrible about documenting the stuff I get, unless I wear it. Note the following in the above pic: fur earrings (courtesy of my older sister's mother-in-law), pink satin pumps ($1.50), silk 90's rose jacket ($2), long rayon mauve formal with white ruffle ($2.50). I am done with thrifting for awhile. Seriously. I mean, I'm not done at all - I will most likely go in order to find things to SELL, but I have plenty of clothes. Plenty. PLENTY.
I re-organized the other night. My dear mother, along with buying me choice items at antique stores, also gives me organizing devices she no longer needs. I did the following "closet" restructuring: moved the formals to the closet (they were making the clothes rack lopsided and treacherous to move), moved the dresses to the wardrobe, moved the blouses to the shortened clothes rack. And, the shoes that were in the wardrobe got put on the metal shelf thingie that Mom gave me this weekend.

I do wish there wasn't a clothes rack hanging out in the middle of the room, but it'll do. The alternative is getting rid of clothes. That's not going to happen.

Now, ALL my shoes are in one general area! I even organized them by color! (Sorry, Mom - I didn't end up putting scarves on the rack, I sorely wanted to.)
Re-organizing does actually make me want to shop less. Seeing everything together is daunting and wonderful. Daunting, because there's so much of it. Wonderful, because I know I can make use of it all.
And I was noting that a huge chunk of the non-black shoes that I own I've gotten since I moved here. Wow.
