I have too many lipglosses and lipsticks. I was seeking a solution.
I also have this phenomenal etched-glass candy jar (I think that's what it is).
I re-arranged some of the jewelry boxes and jewelry. Some of the lipstick/gloss went elsewhere. But the overflow of clearance Color Juice stock went into my candy jar.
How appropriate. :)
I don't really buy knick-knacks that often. I bought this glamour-girl vase the other day at the SalArmy for $9, fully intending to resell it.
But I needed a pen/pencil holder. It took me 3 whole days to realize the solution was staring me in face. Well, not quite. She is rather demure.
She really matches my room quite nicely. I'm glad I found her.
Official News Bulletin: it is my neck's birthday. It is now 10 years older than the rest of me. Just thought you should know.
I didn't really plan on getting dressed today. In the sense of wearing something besides my at-home "uniform" of black pants, casual shirt, hoodie, boots. But. I'm going out for a smidge and I don't know why, I felt the need to wear this. It just happened.
Variation on a previously-seen theme. School is out, so I can re-wear some stuff. :)
Not wearing the scarves this time. Instead, clear jewels. And more-casual pants. And my "new' 60's spectator pumps. ($5)
Going to go eat my favorite salad ever at my favorite downtown restaurant with one of my favorite people. It's nice to have a day off. :)
Last day of class! For now. Got some grading to do, now... better be comfortable.

Also wearing one of my favorite cardigans. Either Mary gave it to me, or I "borrowed" it from her permanently. ;) Also wearing the BEST BOOTS KNOWN TO MAN.

My teaching job is done for the summer, but I'll still be around. I promise.
My hair is dyed. I have new shoes. There was no reason not to look decent today. :) So I got dressed. Nicely. And I put on makeup today.
I'm kind of covering the neckline of this dress, which is a shame. I like the neckline.

An early day. A week of early days. 8am finals. This is fine with me. But I didn't feel the need to be too dressy today. (I dyed my hair over the weekend. That automatically makes me feel more put-together.)

It is one of my favorite things in the world. Especially the red high-heel charm. :) I wish I had a lipstick one. Someday, maybe....
